Heliosphere
Heliosphere explores the boundary between the known and the unknown. The region where sunlight interacts with the solar wind at the edge of our planetary system. The heliosphere marks the threshold between our humanly illuminated space and the vast, uncharted expanse beyond.
Data sonification is used to generate abstract audiovisual gestures that evoke the turbulence and energy of this outer solar boundary. These synthetic sound worlds are juxtaposed with the expressive timbres of the alto saxophone, creating a dialogue between the organic and the algorithmic, the human and the cosmic. Through this interplay, the work seeks to render the unseen dynamics of the heliosphere into perceptible sound and motion.
